The report that Aamir Khan's next, Dangal, will have a rap introduction for its lead characters sent the media into a tizzy. Yesterday, the actor was spotted at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai shooting for the song. If the costume is anything to go by, this will be one cool number.

Dressed in a grey overalls over black denims and killer boots, the actor looked to be taking his role as a rapper pretty seriously. The costume highlighted Aamir's new physique for his role as the young wrestler in the film. His look feels a little out of place when put against the Haryanvi setting of the film. But Aamir is known to surprise the audience in one way for the other, in his films and promotional tactics, and we are curious how this rap number and his look will fit into the narrative.

The last time Aamir did a promotional song was for nephew Imran Khan's Delhi Belly. It proved to be a massive chartbuster.

Dangal's rap song will be the introduction for the two new actresses, Fatima Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra, who are playing Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari in the film.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal is set to release on 23 December.
