Irrfan Khan has always been outspoken and fearless when it comes to speaking in front of the media. He has also been one of the few stars who never shy away from giving bold statements on important issues. The latest example is his open condemnation of few Islamic clerics who had lambasted him for his views on Ramazan fasting and Qurbani.
But his recent interaction in front of the media has taken everyone by surprise. The actor, who is busy promoting his upcoming film Madaari, was speaking about his meeting with politicians like Lalu Prasad Yadav, Arvind Kejriwal and Rahul Gandhi.
He was asked whom he found more mazedaar (fun loving) out of Lalu and Kejriwal. While banging the table, he said, “I hadn’t gone there to experience mazaa. To give you mazaa, I will do an item number for you. If I fail to do it, I will buy you a ticket of a movie that has an item number. You can have mazaa there.”
When he was requested to give a serious reply to the question, he retorted, “Do you think I am kidding out here?”
Later on, Irrfan cooled down and revealed that his meeting with the aforementioned politicians wasn’t about criticising their work, and all he discussed was the problems faced by the common citizens.
Few days ago, Irrfan had tweeted to India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Arvind Kejriwal, Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rahul Gandhi and expressed his desire to meet them as a common citizen. He wasn’t able to meet the PM since the latter is busy with the current Parliament session.
