After Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty left fuming at the airport

Is it just a coincidence or perhaps the skies weren’t favourable for the stars to fly. Monday morning saw Salman Khan miss not one but two flights to Delhi. While Khan laughed at his predicament, Shilpa Shetty Kundra was seething with anger at the alleged shabby treatment meted out to her at London’s Heathrow airport. The actress took to Twitter to vent her frustration against the airline.

Shetty feared missing an event in Mumbai this evening, had she missed her flight.

The actress alleged that the airline nearly off-loaded  her staff despite having confirmed tickets. 

The lady has now cautioned all travellers to be prepared to be bumped by the said airline anytime.

Presumably, Shetty must have lost her temper and it only took the intervention of the British Airways Indian staff to sort out the mess.

While Shetty managed to get on board her flight, poor Salman Khan wasn’t all that lucky. Khan had booked a 9.55 am Jet Airways flight on Monday but he failed to make it in time for the boarding. Any effort to board the flight was nipped in the bud by fellow passengers who didn’t want to be delayed. So, Khan then booked a Vistara flight that was to depart at 10.25 am. Sadly, Salman missed that too. 

Buzz has it that the actor was relaxing in the VIP lounge and failed to pay heed to the numerous reminder calls.  As luck would have it, Khan missed the second flight too. The Sultan actor though looked at the lighter side of things. He did try to speak to Vistara officials, but they, too, were helpless. It is then the actor just burst into laughter.

Finally, Salman did get on to a flight just in time for him to make it to the event he was slated to attend in Delhi.

Perhaps, Miss Shetty can take  a cue from Khan.
