How Madhuri, Katrina, Sonam, other actresses made Priyanka Chopra’s birthday special

Priyanka Chopra turned 34 yesterday. The actor’s career is at an all time high currently. Over the last year or so, the Dostana star has received acclaim not only in India but also abroad, through her international TV series, Quantico. But that’s not all. She will also be seen in the Hollywood film, Baywatch next year. 

So, it doesn’t come as a surprise to see Priyanka being literally flooded with birthday wishes on social media. This also included some big names from the Hindi film fraternity. As PC gets along with almost all her fellow actresses, the most striking feature was some them sharing throwback pictures clicked with Priyanka. These include her colleagues, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Bipasha Basu and Sonam Kapoor. While Bipasha shared an image from an old vogue photoshoot, Sonam posted a pic of the two stars at an award show.

India’s tennis star Sania Mirza too chipped in with a birthday wish for her. 

But what takes the cake are the pictures shared by her cousins and actors Parineeti Chopra and Mannara Chopra of the era when they were kids. The pictures were probably taken when Priyanka won the Miss World Crown in 2000. 

Katrina Kaif, Priyanka’s counterpart, also threw in a wish on Facebook, a platform she recently joined. She wrote, “Happiest happy birthday Priyanka Chopra! Have an amazing year ahead.” To this, the birthday girl replied, “Thank you so much babe and a very happy belated bday to u too. And finally welcome to the mad world of social!!” 

Several others including close friends Arpita Khan, Anusha Dandekhar and music composer Shekhar Ravjiani also shared some throwback images.

Priyanka took the time out to react and thank almost each of her colleagues. We sure seeing all these pictures brought back tons of memories for the birthday girl!
