Hrithik Roshan had categorically stated at the launch of Mohenjo Daro that the Raees and Kaabil clash is an issue that needs to be debated between the producers of the two films. And so Shah Rukh Khan, whose Red Chillies Entertainment is co-producing Raees, is no longer wasting his time time in attempting to woo good friend Hrithik.

After trying to speak to Rakesh Roshan unsuccessfully earlier, a desperate SRK and his co-producer Ritesh Sidhwani were spotted visiting the Roshan house late last night. We tried contacting Rakesh Roshan, but the director didn't revert to our text.

In any case, there are no prices for guessing what the conversation must have centred around.

This is not the first time that Khan has approached Roshan trying to convince him to avoid the Raees-Kaabil clash by postponing the release of Kaabil. In a recent interview to Huffington Post, Khan had acknowledged that he did speak to Roshan but they failed to arrive at any consensus. Interestingly, Rakesh Roshan was earlier quoted saying that neither SRK nor anyone from Raees had approached him.

Last evening's rendezvous is perhaps the first time that Khan has held a personal meeting with Roshan to solve this crisis.

Well, there has been no official communication from the SRK-camp so far. Perhaps, one can then presume that the talks may not have ended on desired note for Khan. The actor though posted an intriguing tweet on the meeting. One can draw their own inferences from it.

The super star’s film was earlier slated to clash with Sultan on Eid this year, but after the failure of Fan, Khan and his team chose to avoid a competition with the box-office king, Salman Khan.

Interestingly, it must be noted that Hrithik Roshan's upcoming films, Mohenjo Daro and Kaabil will both face competition. The former, produced by Disney India and Ashutosh Gowariker, will compete with Akshay Kumar's Rustom on 12 August, 2016. Raees is slated to clash with Kaabil on Republic Day next year.
