Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to post a new picture from the sets of Jolly LLB 2 today. The actor joins Saurabh Shukla and Annu Kapoor in the sequel for 2013 courtroom comedy, Jolly LLB.

Jolly LLB was among the surprise hits of 2013 with Arshad Warsi's performance as a lawyer going against the system earning rave reviews. The sequel will see Akshay Kumar don the black coat to take up the cause of the oppressed. The film won the National Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi, while Saurabh Shukla won the National Award for Best Supporting Actor.
The film will be shot across Lucknow and Varanasi, and will hit theatres early in January next year.
The Khiladi Kumar has had quite the record in films with social messages with films like OMG: Oh My God (2012), Special 26 (2013), and Gabbar Is Back (2015) doing some good business. This looks like another one right up Akshay's alley.
