Recalling memories of director David Dhawan's son Varun, dancing diva Madhuri Dixit-Nene, now a judge on the television dance reality show So You Think You Can Dance: Ab India Ki Baari, said he used to dance a lot on the sets of her films and was a “very naughty child”.

Varun Dhawan and actress Jacqueline Fernandez appear on the grand finale of the reality show to promote their forthcoming film Dishoom.

Remembering some incidents from Dhawan's childhood, Dixit-Nene said: “Varun and his brother [Dishoom director Rohit] used to come on our sets and play random music and just start dancing wherever they would find space.

“And I remember telling his mother, will he ever be a hero? And now here he is on stage like a hero.”

Dixit-Nene worked with David Dhawan in films like Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (1998) and Yaraana (1995).

The dance show finale will be aired on &TV on Sunday. Dishoom, which also features John Abraham, is scheduled for release on 29 July.
