It’s Golmaal 4, not Son Of Sardaar 2 for Ajay Devgn on 2017 Diwali

After the success of three films in the Golmaal franchise, the fourth one was always expected. The only question was when. Now, the makers have announced that Golmaal 4 is all set to release on 2017 Diwali. 

According to latest reports, Rohit Shetty is all set to go ahead with the fourth film later this year. Needless to say, the film will star Ajay Devgn, as has been the case in the first three films. Hence, Golmaal 4 will go on the floors after the Singham actor is done with his directorial venture, Shivaay, which will be released on 28 October 2016, and wrapping up Badshaaho set for a May 2017 release.  

Reports also state that the film will also star the regular Golmaal actors, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Kunal Khemu. The female lead is currently under wraps. 

In order to make way for the film, Devgn has put the sequel of his comedy flick, Son Of Sardaar on hold.
