Varun Dhawan is one filmi dude. The Dishoom actor was visiting the So You Think You Can Dance set for promoting his new flick, Dishoom, alongside Jacqueline Fernandez. True to his reputation as a filmi guy, Dhawan promptly created a dubsmash with Madhuri Dixit to celebrate the 14-year anniversary of the Madhuri starrer, Devdas.
The video has both stars lip syncing to one of Devdas' most famous lines, delivered by Shah Rukh Khan in the film. The lines go 'Babuji ne kaha gaanv chhod do, sab ne kaha Paro ko chhod do, Paro ne kaha sharaab chhod do, aaj tumne keh diya ye haveli chhod do.' Here's the video in full.
On completion of #14YearsOfDevdas this is my first dubsmash for you. Thank you @Varun_dvn â¤ï¸ÂÂð pic.twitter.com/FJ8nXES4Oq

The video certainly sent Devdas and Madhuri fans on the internet into a tizzy. But one man wasn't very impressed. Shah Rukh Khan trolled both Varun Dhawan, and his co-star, Madhuri, for the video by tweeting them.
Chandru this is DhawanDas not DevDas! 2nd he doesn’t drink, 2 health conscious. & wot happened to ur voice Chandru. https://t.co/FaK6DPB81I

If that wasn't enough, Shah Rukh Khan then took to Instagram to post a video along the same lines. Watch.
You can't beat the King Khan at dialoguebaazi. No, you really can't.
