American business magazine Forbes has released its list of the world’s highest paid celebrities and two Indian actors, Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar, are part of the exclusive lineup.
Pop and country singer Taylor Swift leads the pack. She pulled in $170 million while on her 1989 international tour. Shah Rukh Khan checks in at number 86 with $33 million, tying with another global superstar, Robert Downey, Jr.
Akshay Kumar, dubbed by Forbes as the Hindi film industry’s ‘busiest leading’ man, is not far behind at number 94 with $31.5 million.
British pop band One Direction and American suspense writer James Patterson closed out the number two and three spots on the celebrity list with $110 million and $95 million, respectively.
