Bhushan Kumar, head honcho of T-Series, has continued his affair with singles with the track ‘Befikra’. The song has been in the news before its launch, and not just because it features Tiger Shroff with his speculated love interest, Disha Patani.
The title of the song has an uncanny similarity to that of Aditya Chopra’s upcoming flick. Chopra's film, which stars Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor, is called Befikre, a difference of a single letter in English and a single matra (sound) in Hindi.
The similarities don’t end there. Both the song and the film were shot completely in Paris. At the launch of 'Befikra', the makers tried to clear the air on these similarities.
Director Sam Bombay (earlier known as Sam Ahmed) said, “Nine months ago we had decided to shoot the song in Paris. This is no coincidence.” Bhushan Kumar said, “At that time, I think Befikre had not been announced; not even the title had been launched.”
Lyricist Kumaar, who wrote the song, added. “I had no idea a film with such a name will be made. I wrote the song as per my thinking.”
After ‘Badtameez’, ‘Tum Ho Toh’ and ‘Dillagi,’ this is the fourth single by T-Series in just over a month. During the interaction, Bhushan Kumar announced that he would be using these singles in his upcoming films. “These songs will definitely go into our films, for sure,” he said.
