Priyanka Chopra may be in a good mood after receiving the 'People's Choice Award', but things aren't going that well for her production company Purple Pebble Pictures. Apparently, members of the Film Studios Setting and Allied Mazdoor Union are alleging non-payment of dues for services rendered during an ad shoot.
The General Secretary of the Union alleges that two reminders have been to the production house last month, but only a part of the dues have been cleared so far.
The workers, mostly daily wage earners, have not heard from PPP. According to news reports, the production house says that, in accordance with the 'all-inclusive contract' with the art director, they were never accountable to the workers individually. They also say the amount was handed over to the art director.
