Priyanka Chopra is now the first actor in Bollywood to co-produce a mobi-series under her banner Purple Pebble Pictures along with production house Endemol India. She has reportedly joined hands with the subscription-driven video entertainment mobile app NexGTV and celebrity digital network Fluence for a series titled 'It's My City'.
'It's My City' will premiere as a 14-episode premium, original series that revolves around the everyday lives and struggles of four young girls — Manika, Sonali, Tina and Nikki — living together in the same flat in Mumbai. Captured in a light hearted fashion, the sit-com offers a unique and real insight into the lives of Indian girls staying away from their families in pursuit of their dreams. Priyanka Chopra too appears in the series as herself, assuming the mantle of an official landlady, unofficial guardian and protective friend.
The mobi-series premieres on NexGTV on January 22, 2016, with new mobisodes every Tuesday and Friday.
