He began as an Assistant Director in the film My Name is Khan, before switching to the other side of the camera. The success of his first film was followed by hits like Hasee Toh Phasee, EK Villain and Brothers. Coming up are Kapoor & Sons and a film about time travelling called Baar Baar Dekho.
