When Dharmendra fought 'Bruce Li'

Dharam paaji's Punjabi tadka proved too much for this particular martial arts master

In 1981, Katilon Ke Kaatil saw Dharmendra battle a killing machine called Bruce Li. Not Bruce Lee.

This Bruce Lee lookalike gained prominence for his legendary battle with Dharam paaji.

In the film, Bruce Li kidnaps the lovely Zeenat Aman and attempts to rape her, when her desperate cry for help reaches the ears of a passerby (Dharmendra). Quick to gauge that the cry emanates from a tall godown, he picks up a bamboo and pole vaults his way in. What follows next is classic kung-fu action, with the use of sticks as well as the Nunchaku. The final shot has Dharmendra walk onto the stick and deliver a hi-flying kick that sends the poor villain flying into a stack of boxes.

Interestingly, the film also had a Chewbacca-like character. Dharmendra had a lot on his plate for this one.
