After their secret marriage in Italy last year, filmmaker Aditya Chopra and actress Rani Mukerji became proud parents of a baby girl a year ago. By taking the first two letters of both their names, they named her Adira. But they never showed their little girl’s face to anyone these months.
Mukerji has finally shared a picture of Adira on her first birthday. It’s a moving picture where the Bunty Aur Babli actress is seen next to her child. Adira seems oblivious to the picture being taken. She is seen dozing peacefully . But what makes the picture special is a touching note by Mukerji where she has emotionally expressed her state of being a mother.
One of the excerpts goes, “But having a baby is so scary... Because you suddenly stop living for yourself... You live for your child... As she has given birth to you... A mother! I can’t sleep at night.. I can’t get sleep in the day... I often think about all the zillions of mothers who have given birth...Do they all go through the same anxiety... Or is it only me??? Salute all mothers!”
In the same note, Mukerji has also revealed that becoming a mother has made her calmer and forgiving.
Co-incidentally, today husband Chopra's much talked-about directorial venture Befikre also hits the theatres. So, it’s a big day for the daughter and father both.
