Even film stars aren't spared when it comes to the dreaded question, 'when are you getting married?'
Anushka Sharma had the perfect reply when she was asked the question at an event in New Delhi. "Marriage is on the cards, but I don't know when will it happen. I haven't thought about it yet. I have done everything in my life very normally. And marriage is definitely there on my agenda in life. But I don't know when will it happen," she told reporters.
Counted among the top actress of today, Sharma has been in an on-off relationship with Indian cricketer Virat Kohli since 2014 when they appeared in a shampoo advertisement together.
It may be recollected that Sharma had said she had never hidden anything about her relationship with the cricketer. "We are two normal young people in a relationship. We are not hiding anything," she had said.
Commenting on how Indian actresses were being accepted by producers and doing film work, Sharma said, "I feel things are changing now. Actresses are working at the same pace even after getting married or having kids. This is an amazing time for women in industry. I also would like to continue things like a normal person (after marriage). It is important to be that way. I didn't like when people said that actresses have a shelf life."
Sharma will be seen next in her home production Phillauri.
