Aditya Chopra has the honour of being the man behind the most successful and long-running film ever, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995). To add to this, the Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol-starrer was his first attempt at filmmaking.
He followed it up with two more successful films, Mohabbatein (2000) and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008). In between and after making these films, Aditya has had a lion’s share in making his home production, Yash Raj Films as the biggest film banner of India.
However, despite giving the biggest blockbuster of all time and heading the biggest production house, Aditya not only avoids giving interviews, but also strictly debars himself from being in the public eye. Therefore, there are hardly any pictures of the 45-year-old filmmaker. And whenever any picture of his emerges, it becomes a truly rare moment.
We have managed to lay our hands on one such rare moment. Above is the latest picture of Aditya from the sets of his upcoming flick, Befikre. He is seen passionately giving instructions to the lead actors Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor.
The picture was shared officially by Yash Raj Films along with a long note by the filmmaker, where he expresses his experience of Befikre. He has also revealed how he would make DDLJ in today’s era since the entire concept of love has changed in these 21 years.
Aditya has also revealed as to why and how he had to unlearn a lot of aspects of filmmaking for Befikre and why he chose a complete foreign crew for the film. In the end, he confessed that he is “shit scared” for the release of the film.
