The Bajirao Mastani actress will be breaking the trend by making a solo appearance on season 5 of Karan Johar's chat show.

Filmmaker Karan Johar has been experimenting with some strange permutations and combinations in picking guests for season 5 of his Koffee with Karan. However, he looks to have put some guests in the solo bracket, including Priyanka Chopra. A DNA newspaper report suggested that the actress is set to make an appearance on the show by herself.

Rumours suggested that Chopra was to fly back to India this past weekend, taking a break from the shoot of her American television series, Quantico. However, there is no confirmation about whether the actress will be appearing on the show alone, or share the couch with another actor.
The actress was last seen in Prakash Jha's Jai Gangaajal (2015), but has been busy with projects overseas. Her television series, Quantico, is well into its second season having seen a rise in popularity. She is also set to make an appearance as the villain in the film version of Baywatch this year, alongside Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron. In India, the actress has already set her production house, Purple Pebbles Pictures, rolling with the Marathi film, Ventilator, and is set to work on the next Punjabi film, Sarvann.

While Chopra's appearance is a unique one, her Bajirao Mastani co-star, Deepika Padukone is going one up. She is reportedly making an appearance alongside her XXX: The Return of Xander Cage star, Vin Diesel. It would be quite a coup if Johar manages to land that one.
Regardless of who appears and how, Johar is certain to be the winner with TRPs to his show climbing.
