A quick review of 2016 will reveal that Kangana Ranaut has not had the greatest luck when it comes to relationships. Her recent very public spat with Hrithik Roshan led to a lawsuit, and several months of ignominy. However, the actress seems to be expecting 2017 to turn up with something better.
In the recent episode of VH1's Inside Access, the actress opened up about relationships and love. In her own unique style, the actress admitted that she never really got the hang of relationships. However, she said, "Yet, I had the undying spirit to never to learn from my mistakes (from Gangster, 2006, days). I continue to do that. I like that sort of ride."
Ranaut has never sought to hide her personal life. She was rumoured to be dating a UK based doctor, Nicholas Lafferty, in 2012, before moving on to actor Adhyayan Suman and later, famously, Hrithik Roshan.
But the actress is not one to accept defeat. On being asked what does she have planned for her fans in 2017, she replied, "I will get married." She did not clarify to whom though.
This should be enough to get the gossip mills running overtime on the last day of the year. With the rumours around Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli already taking the lead, Ranaut may have just sped up the wedding season for 2017.
