Deepika Padukone wishes Anushka and Katrina on their Koffee With Karan act 

Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma's camaraderie on the recent episode of Koffee with Karan's season 5 took everyone by surprise. The actresses were almost twinning it with their answers, and made quite a few fans. One of them seems to be Deepika Padukone. 

Posting a tweet on her social media account, Padukone praised her two peers, saying 'These girls were on fire...what a fun episode.'

While it might feel all happy and good on the surface, the tweet might have raised a few eyebrows. In one segment, Karan Johar had asked the two actresses to kiss Arjun Kapoor, a guest on the show, if they were good friends with Padukone. While they sat motionless, Kapoor looked at a flummoxed Johar and asked 'Did you really expect a reaction to this question?' 

In that context, the praise from Padukone comes as a surprise. Some might consider it a backhanded compliment. It remains to be seen how Kaif and Sharma react to this praise.
