After the ho-hum reception of The Humma Song, and the rapturous title track, OK Jaanu's latest track Enna Sona offers a breezy melodious break from the usual.

OK Jaanu's album is turning out to be quite an interesting experiment. After the mixed reception to The Humma Song, and the joyous rhythms of the title track, Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor take fans on a lovely little romantic interlude.
Enna Sona, sung by the typically mellow Arijit Singh, is written by Gulzar and composed by AR Rahman. With its Punjabi words, the song takes us through a funny, sentimental journey through of the relationship between Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor's characters.
From their first 'fight selfie' to sashaying dances in the rain, the song offers some very cute moments that bring a touch of realism and dreaminess to the film. With their easy chemistry, the two stars do set some good relationship goals. Aditya Roy Kapur owns the screen as the brooding, mellow young man in love. The scenes of them romancing in the rain is a throwback to their earlier tryst in Aashiqui 2. Hopefully, the album touches the same high for Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor.
The song adds a layer of persuasive romance that lifts the visual element, but fails to touch the superlative. It is a subdued ballad that surprisingly lacks the Rahman element. Gulzar's lyrics feel somewhat subdued, and do possess the signature of his odd imagery.
In all, it is a beautiful, mellow track that is wonderfully shot.
OK Jaanu is directed by Shaad Ali. The film will open in theatres on 13 January 2017.
