Watch: Priyanka Chopra shares hugs with Aishwarya Rai, Anushka Sharma, Karan Johar

Awards night are often the best place to witness star camaraderie. While the stars let down their airs and enjoy the hard won trophies, they also get a chance to catch up with old friends and mend relationships. 

Now that Priyanka Chopra is back in town after being in the US for over six months, she is doing just that, as seen in a candid video doing the rounds on social media. Arriving at the Stardust Awards 2016 a day after she landed in India, Chopra went about with grace and style warmly greeting everyone present at the evening.

One particular moment was when Chopra approached Karan Johar from behind and enveloped him in a warm hug. The director and Chopra had reportedly fallen out some time back, but all seems well with the two now. 

Johar was not the only one who received a warm hug from Chopra. She started by posing for a selfie with Zanai Bhosle, Asha Bhosle's granddaughter, before moving on to a quick peck for Anushka Sharma. 

It was Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with whom Chopra shared a really warm, loving embrace. The two former Miss Worlds looked like old friends who had caught up after a long time. Rai Bachchan won the Most Iconic Performance of the Year for her role in Sarbjit (2016). 

Chopra has spent 2015 shooting overseas for Quantico's second season, and the movie version of Baywatch. Now that she is back, the excitement for her films is on the rise. Before that though, it is time to reconnect with old friends.
