Chopra joins popstar and actress Selena Gomez and mixed martial artist and actress Ronda Rousey as brand ambassadors for the popular hair shampoo brand.

As Alex Parrish on ABC’s Quantico, Priyanka Chopra hunts down traitors and infiltrates a terrorist organisation, all while maintaining a good hairstyle along the way. Chopra has always maintained that her hair is her crowning glory and it’s most likely due to her good genes. It’s probably why Pantene has chosen Chopra to be the new face of their hair products alongside Selena Gomez and Ronda Rousey.

Using the hashtag #StrongIsBeautiful, Pantene’s latest Instagram post introduces Priyanka as their new global ambassador. The pairing of the two seems quite appropriate as Chopra seems to be the perfect candidate to show off their line of products.

The company said they chose her because “Her strength and confidence inspires us, as well as women around the world.”  In a press release, Chopra said the decision to join forces with Pantene for their global campaign was an easy one. "I believe in celebrating the inherent strength that every woman possesses. We both believe that strong is beautiful and that every woman deserves glorious moments to pursue her dreams and to shine,” she said.

Back in February, actress Ruby Rose, who is acting with Chopra's Bajirao Mastani (2015) co-star Deepika Padukone in the upcoming xXx: The Return of Xander, even jokingly commented at one point that Quantico’s promos looked like Pantene commercials

Looks like Pantene picked up on Rose’s observation and made it into a reality. Chopra was recently named the tourism brand ambassador for Assam state upon her return to India this December. Chopra is also the global Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF along with former international footballer David Beckham and The Lord of the Rings actor Orlando Bloom.
