In keeping with the family tradition, another young man from the Kapoor household is set to make his Hindi film industry debut. Aadar Jain, Raj Kapoor’s grandson and younger brother of Armaan Jain, is set to set foot in the family business. Aadar is likely to make his debut with a Habib Faisal direction and YRF production.
Aadar is trained at the Lee Strasburg Theatre and Film Institute and has been an assistant director to Karan Johar. Aditya Chopra will launch Aadar in his debut film.
Shanoo Sharma, the casting director of Yash Raj Films, said, “When I met Aadar Jain for the first time, I found that he had a very infectious personality. I sensed that a person with such energy will have a certain amount of talent. I am glad that things have worked out so well. Aadar is set to create his own groove.”
Jain is the younger son of Raj Kapoor’s daughter Rima Jain. Rima’s elder son Armaan had made an unsuccessful debut with Lekar Hum Deewana Dil (2014).
