The first poster of Anurag Basu has surprised everyone.

Jagga Jasoos has been delayed quite a few times in the last few years due to quite a few reasons. The film, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in lead, is finally free of all roadblocks as it is set to be released on 7 April 2017.
But much before that, the makers have just released the first official poster of the film. Few stills of the film were out much before. Those pictures, which featured the lead pair, indicated that the film is a regular light-hearted entertainer.
However, the first poster has brought a lot of surprises. It seems ostriches play an important role in the film. As surprising as it may sound, Kapoor and Kaif are seen riding an ostrich. There is also a big group of ostriches accompanying them.
But that’s not all. UTV shared the poster on Twitter with a caption, “Sometimes, the fastest getaway is an Ostrich!” This might be the first Hindi film to feature ostriches so prominently. The presence of a fighter plane also highlights the presence of action scenes.
The first trailer of the film was supposed to be attached with Aamir Khan’s Dangal, which is releasing on 23 December. However, there are reports that that won’t be happening as the trailer has got a U/A certificate. As Dangal has got U certificate, a trailer with a U/A certificate can’t be attached with it, as per the rules.
Jagga Jasoos is the first film under Ranbir and Basu’s joint production venture, Pictureshuru Productions.
