Did you know Rajinikanth was offered Aamir Khan's Dangal?

As we all are aware, Aamir Khan has put in a lot of hard work for Dangal. To increase your weight to 97 kilos and then reduce it and gain a lean figure is no mean task. Hence, it won’t be wrong to state that, along with the film, there are a lot of expectations from Mr Perfectionist’s performance too. 

But what if we tell you that superstar Rajinikanth was also offered the film? Confused? Well, we are not at all lying. The Kabali star was offered the responsibility of dubbing the film in Tamil and Telugu for Aamir’s character. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out. This was revealed by Aamir himself during the teaser launch of his upcoming film, Secret Superstar. 

Aamir said, “The film is dubbed in Tamil and Telugu. Yes I did approach Rajini sir. He loved the film. He really loved the film. After discussing it with him both he and I felt that his voice is too recognisable. Rajini sir is so famous that his voice is so recognisable. His voice might not have suited my face. We both felt that. But he loved the film. He was very encouraging. It was lovely meeting him.”

During the same event, Aamir also expressed his desire to work with Rajinikanth in the future.
