Like it or not, Aamir Khan unveils Secret Superstar teaser

Zaira Wasim has literally struck the right chord with Aamir Khan in Dangal. As planned, Khan was to reveal a secret today. Many thought that it would be pertaining to his upcoming release Dangal. Khan instead unveiled the teaser of his next production, Secret Supertar, that will see his Dangal daughter Wasim.

Wasim plays a young girl who loves playing the guitar, but her ambitions aren’t approved by her father. So, Wasim’s character dons a burkha and pursues her dream by posting her music on YouTube. 

Khan tweeted the Secret Superstar teaser, surprising all those who complain that the superstar does only one film a year. Secret Superstar, which will release on 4 August 2017, is helmed by Advait Chandan, who had assisted Khan's wife Kiran Rao on Dhobi Ghat (2011).

Apart from having an appealing story, Khan's funky look with golden spiked hair in the teaser is refreshing. What also stays with you is how Khan’s character urges you to share the teaser if you like it, and change your taste if you haven't liked it.

Perhaps, Khan could be playing a mentor to Wasim’s character. We'll know more once the press conference for the Secret Superstar, which is currently underway, ends.
