Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh move out of their houses 

It certainly isn't easy to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Known as a strict taskmaster, the director has ordered the lead stars, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, to find accomodation closer to the sets of his period epic, Padmavati. 

Currently being shot in Mumbai's Film City studios in Goregaon, the film is being touted as equally lavish and epic as Bhansali's previous, Bajirao Mastani. Incidentally, the director had made a similar request during Bajirao Mastani. The grand success of Bajirao Mastani seems to have spurred Bhansali to take his stars out of their comfort zone again. 

However, a report quoted sources suggesting convenience and efficiency as the main reasons for this move. The source was quoted saying, "The shift will also enable both of them to report to the set at any time of the day, without having to spend hours on the commute. Deepika stays in Prabhadevi while Ranveer's house is in Bandra. Travelling to Goregaon can be a real pain, especially during peak hours. So, Deepika will stay in a hotel as long as her schedule continues. She is mostly shooting in the night. Ranveer will resume filming in mid-January and will be put up in a highrise nearby." 

Interestingly, the real life couple won't be moving into the same apartment. Guess the two have taken Bhansali's dictat to keep their real life equation out of the limelight for the betterment of the film seriously.

Padmavati is based on the epic battle of Chittor in 1303. Singh plays the dreaded Alauddin Khilji, with Deepika Padukone playing the title role of Padmavati. Shahid Kapoor plays the role of Padmavati's husband, King Rawal Ratan Singh. The film is slated for a November 2017 release.
