Like each and every film of his, there is huge excitement for Salman Khan’s next titled Tubelight. In fact, the film has been in the news ever since it was announced since it brings back the successful duo of Kabir Khan and Salman for the third time.
The two of them have delivered mammoth hits in the form of Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015). So, it is obvious that the expectations from the film would be sky high when it releases on 25 June 2017. Like most of his films from Dabangg (2010) onwards, Tubelight is an Eid release.
The release is a long way away right now. So, for the time being, let’s have a look at the first still from the film released by Salman on his Twitter page. It shows the Sultan actor running carefree with a wide smile on his face. He is seen wearing a maroon coloured T-shirt. But what is more noticeable is the presence of a large number of kids, all cheering for him.
There were reports that Salman is playing a specially challenged character, which is the reason for the title. Going by the actor’s expression and act in this picture, it seems true.
Tubelight is an Indo-Chinese production. The film is based on the backdrop of war between two countries. It stars Chinese actress Zhu Zhu opposite Salman.
