Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3, with director Vijay Krishna Acharya and producers Yash Raj Films, worked wonders at the box-office. The film is third in the all time list of Hindi cinema's biggest blockbusters. Now, the trio has decided to join hands again for the upcoming flick, Thug.

The makers had initially approached Hrithik Roshan for the role, but the actor suggested some changes in the scripts. As per reports, he was unhappy with the final outcome and decided to focus on his father Rakesh Roshan’s Kaabil.

Following this, Acharya made some massive changes in the script before approaching Aamir for the role. Interestingly, the actor instantly gave his nod to the script. This is surprising since Aamir is known to take his time before signing on any new film.

The reason for Aamir’s quick approval is being attributed to his desire to be part of a light-hearted film, after having worked in Dangal. It is suggested that his character will be similar to the iconic one he played in Rangeela. Aamir is expected to start shooting the film after the release of Dangal in December.
