The long delayed film was initially set to release in 2015, before being pushed to 2016. It will now hit the theatres in April next year.
Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif starrer Jagga Jasoos finally has a release date

Anurag Basu's Jagga Jasoos feels like it has been in the works forever. The team began shooting for the Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif starrer in 2014, before it ran into multiple delays that stymied its progress. The film was initially planned for a 2015 release, which was later pushed to 2016. The public break up of the lead actors, along with several other delays, put a spanner in the works for the studio. But that seems to have come to an end now.
Disney India finally announced a release date for the film today as 7 April 2017.

Jagga Jasoos is the debut venture of Anurag Basu and Ranbir Kapoor's production house, Picture Shuru Productions. The film has been co-produced by Disney Films India.
April seems to be a long way off, and Kapoor and Basu might want to keep their fingers crossed to avoid any more delays.
