Salman Khan plays caddy for Nawazuddin's Freaky Ali


Superstar shares first look of India's first film on a golfer that will be helmed by brother Sohail Khan.

Don't get carried away by the headline, though it is a fact that Salman Khan could go to any lengths for family and friends. The Sultan actor shared the first look of Freaky Ali, a film that will be directed by younger brother Sohail Khan with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead.

The superstar shared the first look of the film via Twitter. 

Freaky Ali is a film about a an extortionist who turns into a star golfer, all to win his lady love. Amy Jackson plays Ali’s love interest. The film also stars Arbaaz Khan. The trailer will be released on Sunday, 7 August.

Siddiqui has always been admired by Khan, and the duo have worked together in films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) and Kick (2014). Brother Sohail Khan, who has been struggling in his career, returns to direction after Jai Ho (2014), which did average business.

Produced by Salman Khan, Freaky Ali is slated for release on 9 September 2016, when it will compete with the Karan Johar-produced Baar Baar Dekho, which has Salman Khan's ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif in the lead role.
