Salman Khan has seen and done it all in his 28-year-long film career. Well, almost. One thing that was missing so far from his resume was an animation project. Now that void is being filled with the actor picking his maiden animated film.
The superstar, who played Bajrangi Bhaijaan in the 2015 film, has lent his voice to Lord Hanuman aka Bajrangi in Hazaron Khwaishein Aisi (2005) writer Ruchi Narain's mythological animated film Hanuman Da Damdaar.
The buzz is that Khan gave his nod instantly after Narain told him the story. The writer-director was impressed with the improvisations that Khan suggested.
According to Narain, though a common mythological subject, somewhere along the way the essence of the story of Hanuman was lost.
Hanuman Da Damdaar has been in the works for three years, but with Khan on board, the film is ikely to be completed and released by the end of the year.
Apart from Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Narain also wrote the screenplay for Snip! (2000) and Kal: Yesterday And Tomorrow (2005).
