The poster justifies the film's tagline as Devgn rescues his on-screen daughter against a backdrop of destruction.

The tagline for Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay is: ‘This Diwali there will be destruction.’ The line is completely justified by its latest poster, which was shared by Devgn himself on Twitter yesterday.
In the latest poster, the Golmaal (2006) actor is seen rescuing his daughter, played by Abigail Eames, a child actress from Britain. The film's story revolves around her abduction. The fact that a scene of destruction is playing in the background adds to the element of thrill in the poster and increases your sense of anticipation for the film.
Shivaay is directed by Devgn himself. This is his second directorial venture after U Me Aur Hum (2008), in which he had cast himself opposite his wife Kajol. That film was a romantic drama that dealt with the theme of Alzheimer’s disease.
Produced under the banners of Ajay Devgn Films and Eros International, Shivaay is scheduled for release during Diwali on 28 October. The first trailer of the film will be released tomorrow.
