Tiger Shroff's A Flying Jatt never managed to take off despite the Janmashtami release. The film managed to rake up Rs6.75 crore on its opening day. The holiday has not helped the film at all. The other two films in contention, Akshay Kumar's Rustom and Happy Bhag Jayegi, saw a slight rise in their collections in the mid week.

The film did manage to generate some expectations since Tiger's last film, Baaghi, did manage to rake in Rs12 crore net. A Flying Jatt had no such advantage though.

A Flying Jatt saw better collections in the West and Central India regions, while the North failed to make any impact on the collections, despite the film targeting the Punjabi demographic. The film does have the advantage of the weekend to score high on the box office.

The second day might prove to be the crucial one for A Flying Jatt. A bad performance will see the film crash landing badly.
