The song, released on Tuesday, features a love-struck Deshmukh dreaming about the US DJ played by Nargis in Ravi Jadhav's film.

If music be the food of love, said the bard, and Riteish Deshmukh certainly agrees. In the new song from the film Banjo, the actor looks smitten and daydreams about Nargis Fakhri.
Composed by Vishal-Shekhar, and sung by Hriday Gattani, 'Udan choo' is a beautiful love ballad that captures the dreamy romance of Deshmukh's street-dwelling banjo player. Very hummable, the song possesses a melodic quality that is very different from the bombastic rock anthem 'Bappa Morya' that was released before. Gattani's voice has the dreamy quality that enhances Amitabh Bhattacharya's lyrics and the beauty of the composition.
The song is picturised across different locations in the city — fish markets and street bars. Deshmukh plays a street musician smitten by his US-return muse, Nargis Fakhri, with charm. The lead pair even have their 'Titanic moment' striking a pose by the beautiful sea of Mumbai.
Banjo, directed by Ravi Jadhav, will release on 23 September.
