A seasoned professional that he is, Amitabh Bachchan seldom loses his cool and is ever ready to oblige the media. In the past, he’s had his odd disagreements with the media, but eventually both have made peace. Bachchan’s patience makes him a favourite with the media.

The veteran actor was left a bit upset when one of the leading portals posted a story on how Bachchan refused to be photographed. The said incident occurred at Mehboob Studio on Sunday where Bachchan was shooting for a direct-to-home video service commercial. Big B was still donning his TV commercial look, but was then caught unawares by the shutterbugs, who were keen to click him. Bachchan requested them all to wait for him to get done with the shoot as he did not want to be clicked in his look for the TV commercial. However, as per sources, one eager beaver clicked his picture which upset the actor, who then quickly went to his set.

However, Bachchan was miffed to read a report which said he refused to be photographed.

The actor then took to his blog ‘Bachchan Bol’ to give his side of the story. Explaining his reasons for not obliging the photographers initially, the actor said he was upset that this look for the commercial was published by the portal. However, the picture could not be traced.

Meanwhile, through his blog, Bachchan also disclosed how he would be rendering his voice to the Ganesh aarti after a long time — a request made by the custodians of the famous Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai.

“I am late because I was on song .. hehehaha .. on song not as in on song for some adventure or accomplishment, or for some achievement .. but for once after a very long time was back in the recording studio to render the ‘arti’ for Ganapati for the Siddhivinayak Temple. “Jai dev  jai dev .. jai mangal murti. A devotional rendition of the ‘arti’ for Lord Ganesh, a rendition that has been asked of me to be done by the temple, and one that is a most inspiring and emotional rendition for me. Soon it shall be out .. and I shall be happy to share it with you all,” Bachchan posted in this blog.
