The first look poster of the much awaited sequel to the blockbuster fantasy will be unveiled on the birthday of its lead star, Prabhas.

Ever since the SS Rajamouli's blockbuster Baahubali — The Beginning released, the buzz for its sequel has been building up. The film became something of a phenomenon for its large scale effects, storyline, and national revenue. The fantasy epic, starring South Indian star Prabhas and Rana Daggubati, made a lifetime earning of Rs302 crore making it one of the largest blockbusters in Indian cinema of all times. Now, news reports suggest that the first look of the sequel will be unveiled on 23 October this year.
The reports suggest that the release of the first look of Baahubali — The Conclusion will be timed on the birthday of the film's lead actor, Prabhas. A spokesperson for the film said, "The makers are planning to offer a double treat to the audience and unveil particular content from the sequel which can be released on Prabhas’s birthday."
Rajamouli's film, Baahubali — The Conclusion will star Rana Daggubati, Prabhas, Tamannaah, and Anushka Shetty in major roles. The film is reported to be bigger in scale, and match the effects of its prequel.
For audiences, the question now shifts to whether the first look will shed some light on why Katappa killed Baahubali.
