Salman Khan is known to back friends, especially if they are up against his adversaries. Hrithik Roshan may not be an arch foe, but he is not among Khan's BFFs either.

Khan had mocked Hrithik Roshan's 2010 film Guzaarish, comparing its box-office plight with that of his own Khamoshi (1996) which, he famously claimed, not even a dog came to see. Interestingly, both films were directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Hrithik Roshan was not amused and hit back at Khan, albeit in a civil manner. Khan later apologised to Roshan for his cheeky remark.

There has been no bad blood reported between them since, but neither have the two stars hugged or slapped each other on the back.

Next week will see Hrithik Roshan's Mohenjo Daro compete with Akshay Kumar's Rustom. Khan is good friends with Kumar and he let the world know whom he will be rooting for come 12 August.

A day after he referred to Kumar as the real Sultan of Bollywood, as mainstream Hindi cinema is sometimes called, Khan posted this video hailing Kumar as the Rustom-e-Hind of the industry.

In just a couple of hours, the tweet garnered over 7,000 likes and 2,800 retweets. Wonder what Hrithik Roshan will make of this now.
