Shah Rukh Khan was detained by the US Immigration officials at the Los Angeles Airport today due to security concerns. This is the third time he has been detained by the US immigration, and the actor certainly isn’t happy by the turn of events.

SRK took to his Twitter account to express his frustration. He wrote, “I fully understand & respect security with the way the world is, but to be detained at US immigration every damn time really really sucks.” Soon enough, he followed it up with a light-hearted message that read, “The brighter side is while waiting caught some really nice Pokemons.”

Later on, Nisha Biswal, Assistant Secretary of State for for South and Central Asia in the US Department apologized to the Fan actor but also mentioned that even American diplomats get pulled up at airports. She tweeted to SRK, “Sorry for the hassle at the airport, @iamsrk - even American diplomats get pulled for extra screening!”

Ever the gracious King, Shah Rukh tweeted back saying it was no 'hassle', just an inconvenience.

The actor was detained a couple of times by the US Immigration in the last few years. His ordeal was the toughest in 2009 when he was detained at the Newark International Airport since his name cropped up in the list of suspicious names. It turned out that a terrorist had nicknamed himself Shah Rukh Khan since he happens to be a big fan of the Badshah of Bollywood. The actor had previously joked that everytime he feels to arrogant, he simply takes a trip to the US.

While Shah Rukh might have let the issue go as soon as he stepped out of the airport, the incident was taken up by Twitterati immediately. Many of the Twitterati, including Rohit Sharma, got on to the act.
