Actor Narendra Jha is playing Hrithik Roshan’s guide in Ashutosh Gowariker’s Mohenjo Daro. Coincidentally, he is also starring with the Krrish actor in Rakesh Roshan’s keenly awaited, Kaabil. After working with Hrithik in two films, Jha is of the opinion that the actor is a perfectionist, just like Aamir Khan.
In an exclusive chat with Cinestaan.com, he said, “Hrithik is a very sincere and hardworking actor. He keeps working with himself and the director until he is satisfied with the end result. People keep saying that Aamir Khan is a perfectionist. When I work with Hrithik, I feel he too is a perfectionist. He works as if this is the last shot he is giving. Even if he has to give a small reaction, he would come with the best of it.”
Talking about his character in Mohenjo Daro, he said, “My character is emotionally attached with Mohenjo Daro’s culture. He becomes Sarman’s [Hrithik's] guide. My character has lost everything while opposing Mahaam [Kabir Bedi] all his life. This has made him insane. But he still manages to take Sarman to his destination. He is like the conscience and soul of Mohenjo Daro,” said the actor who is best known for his role as Shahid Kapoor’s father in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Haider (2014).
Mohenjo Daro, which also stars newcomer Pooja Hegde opposite Hrithik, will be released tomorrow along with Akshay Kumar’s Rustom.
