Reports of Ranveer Singh collaborating with director Rohit Shetty set tongues wagging a couple of days ago. The truth, as it turns out, is the duo have come together for an ad campaign for the noodles brand, Ching's Secret. The first trailer of the campaign is out, and it is crazy!
The campaign, titled 'The war for desi Chinese', has all the signatures of a Rohit Shetty film, with high-octane action scenes, dance numbers, and a pretty looking Tamannaah Bhatia, too. Ranveer Singh makes his entry as a superhero taking on the food mafia in a dystopian future in Mad Max: Fury Road style. His feathered hat, leather jacket and boots combined with a swagger make us wonder why no one has yet approached him to play a superhero yet!
The actor seems excited about this campaign and has been tweeting about it over the last week.
The campaign will be launched on 19 August, followed by a world satellite premiere on a television channel. The campaign is also scheduled to be promoted across social media channels and YouTube, with a special three-minute short film made exclusively for the medium.
To be honest, we are quite excited. We like Ranveer Ching 2.0 already!
