As the theatrical release of Mohenjo Daro nears and the makers prepare for the final round of box office battle with Akshay Kumar starrer Rustom, a new promo focusing on Hrithik Roshan's character Sarman as the saviour has been released. While the first trailer evoked a mixed response from the audience, the second promo is tighter and fast-paced.
While Hrithik is excited about the new trailer, he has admitted that he still hasn't seen the final film. In fact, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has already seen the film and passed it with a U certificate (Unrestricted Public Exhibition), while the film's leading star is yet to watch the final product.
The actor posted the new promo on his Twitter account, and wrote that he was excited to see how the magnum opus has finally turned out. "new one. Dying to watch my own movie now. (Haven't seen it yet!)," he wrote.
Hrithik, who has complete trust in his director, Ashutosh Gowariker, has not been involved in the editing process. Hrithik has been busy promoting the film and shooting for his next home production Kaabil instead. The runtime of Gowariker's historical drama is 150 minutes, and is the shortest film the filmmaker has made so far.
We are sure Hrithik, who has completely surrendered to Gowariker's vision, will see the film soon, before it hits the screens on 12 August.
