Asked about wife, Farhan Akhtar walks out

He is among the calmest heads in the Hindi film industry, but even the iceman can lose his cool. Actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar walked out of a media interaction on Monday when he was asked about his estranged wife Adhuna Bhabani.

Both Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Bhabani were present at the wrap-up party of Baar Baar Dekho at a popular hotel in Bandra, Mumbai, though they arrived separately. Later, at a media interaction before leaving the venue, Farhan Akhtar was asked if he had spoken to Adhuna at the event.

According to a witness, the star was stunned by the personal question. Visibly upset, he cut short the interaction and headed for his car.

Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Bhabani were married for 16 years before separating in January 2016. Despite the speculation surrounding their separation, both Akhtar and Bhabani have maintained a stoic silence. All that came out officially was a statement by Farhan Akhtar saying the couple had drifted apart in the last few years.
