From the Padma Shri to Time magazine's list of '100 Most Influential People in the World', Priyanka Chopra is going places. The international star is one of six Indians to be featured on the list, with Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Flipkart founders Binny Bansal and Sachin Bansal, Reserve Bank of India governor Raghuram Rajan, and doubles tennis star Sania Mirza.

The 33-year-old actress was chosen by the magazine to feature alongside 17 other artistes for her "drive, ambition and self-respect" as described by her Baywatch co-star Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

In his write-up, Johnson praised Priyanka Chopra's "hard work" in trying to handle a global career. He wrote, "She has an ability to inspire people to do more and achieve more. When I look at her success from the 50,000-ft view and see everything that Priyanka has already done, is currently doing and has the desire and the bandwidth to do, I can see that her impact is going to be invaluable."

Like Chopra, Johnson handles multiple roles as an actor, producer and entertainer.

Reacting to her inclusion in the Time 100 list, Priyanka Chopra said she was humbled, overwhelmed and blessed to be in the same group as people like Charlize Theron and Melissa McCarthy. Here's what she had to say about her big honour, and how some of her friends reacted.
