Ram Madhvani is back with Neerja, a bio-pic on brave airhostess Neerja Bhanot, who gave up her life fighting hijackers on board the ill-fated Panam flight on August 5, 1986. The ad-maker last made Let's Talk, starring Boman Irani, in 2002. Apparently, he was supposed to direct a desi interpretation of The Lord Of The Rings with Amitabh Bachchan in the lead, but that didn't work out.
Going by the trailer of Neerja, starring Shabana Azmi and Sonam Kapoor, the long break was worth it.
