It happened in 2008. The actor Govinda publically slapped a fan on the sets of Money Hai Toh Honey Hai, supposedly because he was getting too close to girls on the sets.

Yesterday, the Supreme Court observed that film stars should not indulge in fighting in a public place and directed Govinda to apologize to his fan. The bench headed by Justice T S Thakur saw the incident's video clips in an open court and objected to Govinda's behaviour. Justice T S Thakur added that Govinda is a public figure and should not have had indulged in such activities.

Govinda has been asked to settle the issue outside court by expressing regret on his behaviour and conduct.
