Romanian actress Iulia Vantur, actor-producer Salman Khan’s rumoured girlfriend, is set to play the lead actress in director Prem Soni’s Radha Kyun Gori Main Kyun Kaala. The film will be produced by the recently launched Studio Five Elements.

The film will be reportedly based on the real-life incident of an alleged sexual exploitation of a tourist at the hands of an Indian bank official in Mathura in 2017. While director Prem Soni refused to share more information, a source informs that Vantur will play a Polish girl who is an ardent devotee of Krishna.

“Radha Kyun Gori Main Kyun Kaala is the story of Julia Bien, a Polish girl [Vantur] who is a Krishna devotee since childhood. As a child, she had endured tough childhood, but she found solace in the teachings of the Bhagvad Gita. She always wanted to visit Mathura, to see the ISKCON temple there. She falls victim to an unfortunate incident but thereafter it is the teaching of the Gita that help her to fight the evil. There is also ‘the beauty and the beast’ kind of sub plot with Julia finding love in Babul Chaubey that will be played by Jimmy Sheirgill.”

Radha Kyun Gori Main Kyun Kaala is likely to go on floors in a month or so with the makers targeting a release next year.
