Director Leena Yadav, who had earlier made Shabd (2005) and Teen Patti (2010), makes a comeback after six years with Parched, which focuses on the lives of three rustic women seeking freedom from their suppressed lives.

Starring Radhika Apte, Surveen Chawla, and Tannishtha Chatterjee play the women seeking to find liberation from a patriarchal and domineering society.

Cinestaan.com was fortunate to have the director, Leena Yadav, sit down alongwith the three leading ladies for a conversation about the film.

Free, frank, and fearless, the ladies certainly made their point on the film and the controversies around it, and then some.

Parched is produced by Ajay Devgn FFilms and is set to release on 23 September.
